Description
iana-etc is horribly broken. Either IANA changed the formats of their files or iana-etc is just horribly out of date, but regardless, the manipulation for the services file fails horribly resulting in an empty services file when using make get and make STRIP=yes.
Arch Linux has fixes for this in their patch to iana-etc: https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk/newer.patch?h=packages/iana-etc
