I have a successful build as of June 14, 2014 with the Core i7 3770k desktop machine. The build logs are at http://cross-lfs.org/testsuite-logs/git/x86_64-64/Core-i7-3770k/

I have built a pure64 as of GIT 20130119 and all is well from what I can discern.
