Description
Tested a build on my Abit NF7-S2G motherboard with the sata Nvidia built on, everything built ok until I tried to make my system bootable with Grub. It gave the the Error 24: Attempt to access block outside partition.
With a lot of the hardware out there using SATA these days, we need to address this issue to see if it's an isolated incident or just a one off.
I was able to complete the build using Ken's Lilo instructions that are for x86_64, and we can use those if need be.

GRUB already works fine for me on x86 with an Intel SATA controller. I tested grub with the patch to make sure it didn't break - it still works fine.

Adding the patch to the book, but leaving the ticket open for a few days.
