Description
Following directions at http://cross-lfs.org/view/svn/x86_64-64/prologue/hostreqs.html, I got the error:
version-check.sh: line 14: /lib/libc.so.6: No such file or directory
The host system is Fedora Core 10 on a Gateway DX4720-03 PC.
I did find out the glibc version by running "yum list glibc" which reports: glibc.x86_64 2.9-3 installed

This error means that the libc-devel package is not installed on your host.
