I'm running a current CLFS (x86 Pure64) system with Glibc 2.23 now. Haven't seen any problems with any other packages, though I haven't tried checking testsuite results yet. Also the i386 patch to test-installation.pl is no longer needed with this version, and neither is the "largefile" fix patch in LFS. No other changes are needed in the installation of Glibc, at least not that I've seen.
