These are the notes for build CLFS on a Cobalt x86 series RaQ server.

You can skip Grub, instead follow the directions to setup cobalt-rom from ​http://wiki.parvi.org/index.php/RaQ_Installation_Guide

You will need an additional patch to add in the specifics for Cobalt x86 RaQ's. You will need to select the appropriate one. ​http://files.parvi.org/gentoo-stuff/patches/cobalt-kernel-2.6.x/

After the Kernel Installation, in the kernel source issues these command
cp vmlinux ${LFS}/boot/vmlinux
bzip2 ${LFS}/boot/vmlinux
