These are the notes for build CLFS on a Cobalt x86 series RaQ server.
You can skip Grub, instead follow the directions to setup cobalt-rom from
http://wiki.parvi.org/index.php/RaQ_Installation_Guide
You will need an additional patch to add in the specifics for Cobalt x86 RaQ's. You will need to select the appropriate one.

After the Kernel Installation, in the kernel source issues these command
cp vmlinux ${LFS}/boot/vmlinux
bzip2 ${LFS}/boot/vmlinux
