174	Gettext-0.17 Source for CLFS Version SVN-20080719-x86_64-Pure64	nashing_nasher	clfs-commits@…	"When compiling Gettext-0.17 in 6.14 of CLFS Version SVN-20080719-x86_64-Pure64 a number of errors were encountered. This is using the LFS LiveCD 6.3-r2160. System specs are as follows:

Motherboard: Asus P5N-MX
Memory: 4 gig DDR2 ram
Processor: Intel Pentium 2.8 Ghz Dual Core (E2200)

The errors encountered were:

""expected ')' before '__wc'"" in wctype.h in lines 244, 248, 253, 256, 261, 266, 271, 276, 291, 290

""expected '=', ',' ';', 'asm' or '__attribute'"" on line 299, 302 and 310

The issue comes when using Gettext-0.17.tar.tar and is resolved by downloading Gettext from:

http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gettext/gettext-0.17.tar.gz

The original soruce of Gettext-0.17.tar.tar seems to have been a tarball of the CLFS Developemtn version packages on one of the mirrors."	defect	closed	major	CLFS Standard 1.1.0	BOOK		invalid	Gettext, Gettext-0.17
