    <para>Wireless Tools is the reference implementation of tools supporting the
    ability to manipulate the Wireless Extensions API supported by most wireless
    LAN networking drivers.</para>

    <title>Installation of Wireless Tools</title>

    <para os="a">Wireless Tools' <filename>Makefile</filename> contains 
    explicitly which <command>gcc</command>, <command>ar</command>, and
    <command>ranlib</command> to use.  Make sure the 
    <filename class="directory">${CLFS}/cross-tools</filename> versions of 
    these programs are used instead of the host's:</para>
