#170 | fixed | udev 64 override of libvolume_id.so.0 32
Description |
I installed the CLFS version of this development and all working well. But I had problems installing the package HAL, as directed by CBLFS wiki. After many attempts saw that the problem is installing the package udev-124 of CLFS, the patch forcing the directory lib64 worked for almost everything except the libvolume.so.0, which is installed in /lib and not in /lib64, overriding the 32-bit version. In my attempts, before reinstalling udev, i changed in the Makefile from /lib to /lib64 in extra/volume_id/lib directory, then the installation placed in the right place, but even then the package HAL (64 bit) can not find libvolume_id.so.0, i copied the file extras/volume_id/lib/libvolume_id.pc from the compilation of udev-124, into the /usr/lib64/pkgconfig and i rather the hal find the library. |

#89 | fixed | x86_64 Multilib - Perl libc patch not listed as required
Description |
In the 1.0.0-rc4 book, in section 3.5 (the "Additional Patches for <arch>" section), there's a discrepancy between x86 / x86_64 (pure64), and x86_64 (multilib). In the multilib book, the Perl libc patch is not shown on the additional patches page, but in the other two books, it is. In all three books, section 10.4 (temporary Perl) says to apply this patch, so I believe it should be added to the multilib book's list of patches. |

#205 | fixed | Update Acknowledgements
Description |
I think that the acknowledgement page needs to be updated. There are people who help with the book who are not listed and people who are listed that no longer help with the book (e.g. JH) http://cross-lfs.org/view/svn/x86/introduction/acknowledgements.html |
